In today’s episode… it’s just so bad. How bad? Well, you’re either going to need a Tums or a Donut (or both). We’ll tell you about the time Scott got a massage in Hawaii (yeah, Hawaii. It still ended badly). We’ll tell you what happened when two people switched genders in their company emails. The one shining light in today’s episode is how a small grocery store is the second best company to work for in America. But, of course, we follow that with a story about Uber’s diversity initiative.(Spoiler: It bleeds into today’s made-up word and it’s awful). A listener question about Kickstarter and absolutely nothing more.

I literally just spit Dr. Pepper all over myself when you said Jewber. I should know better than to consume anything while listening to the Unpodcast. And as a Rochesterian, I can confirm that Wegmans is awesome (and they also happen to be one of the most innovative supermarket chains in the US, if not the world). I’ve never worked for them, but they way they treat their employees shows in every interaction I’ve had with their staff–everyone is friendly and goes out of their way, not just to help you out, but to make you feel like you are the only customer in the store. As weird as it sounds, when you have guests visiting from out of town in Rochester, you take them to Wegmans because it’s such an amazing store.
